Island & Great Salt Lake -
Antelope
Island is the largest island in the Great Salt Lake and is home to free-roaming herds of bison, bighorn sheep, mule deer, and antelope. The island provides spectacular views of the Great Salt Lake, Wasatch Mountain Range, and the Salt Lake Valley. The eastern shoreline of the Great Salt Lake is considered critical habitat for large numbers of migratory bird species that use the central flyway and the shoreline of Antelope Island offers opportunity to view numerous species.

Take a glimpse into the fascinating history of Park City (Home of the Sundance Film Festival & 2002 Winter Olympics). Once a mining boomtown, to now a skiing Mecca and get a way for the rich and famous, but still remains the charming qualities of a quant mountain town. Park City is also home to the Utah Olympic Park; which accommodates a large range of summer activities: A 435-foot zip line, a bobsled ride and stainless steel alpine slide – first of its kind in the United States.

Bingham
Canyon Mine –
Take a scenic drive along the OquirrhMountains to the Bingham Canyon Mine, the world’s first excavation and largest open-pit, located 28 miles southwest of downtown Salt Lake City. The mine is 2 ½ miles across, and ¾-miles deep, it is one of the only two man-made objects that can be seen from outer space. The Bingham Canyon Mine is the second largest copper producer in the United States – While there, you experience mining in action, view historical photographs of the mine, and enjoy many interactive exhibits. On our way back, visit the forth largest terminal lake in the world; The Great Salt Lake is a destination that offers breathtaking panoramic views; not to mention the water is several times saltier then sea water; and sometimes considered and often names “America’s Dead Sea.”
